Use AI for recurring reports

For a weekly or monthly report, a good method needs to work again when the data changes. Look for source refresh, stable definitions, totals, exceptions, version names and a way to update the presentation. A one-time deck course may cover only part of that cycle.

Find your starting point

Automate Your Reports with Claude AI in Excel & PowerPoint follows a five-part weekly report using marketing data, Excel dashboards, channel analysis, quality checks and a PowerPoint deck. Claude for Project Management: Cowork, Excel & Reporting focuses on grounded status packs and steering reports, using RAG, RAID, action and decision logs. It includes context-pack assignments, quizzes and a reporting-cycle capstone. Cowork access is a separate requirement.

AI for Reporting and Presentation Design covers a brief, deck draft, chart checks, visual polish and speaker notes, with a guided Gamma project and five assignments. Professional Presentations with Gamma AI in 60 Minutes builds and reviews a Gamma deck from scattered information. Both can help with presentation work, but the outlines do not describe a full monthly refresh process.

Ask how the method handles changed inputs and missing data, and whether your Excel, PowerPoint, Gamma or Cowork account can run it. A useful repeatable report keeps definitions and flags visible when a total changes.
